Samsung Electronics UK Limited (“Samsung” or “We”) and its affiliated companies respect your concerns about privacy. This Privacy Notice applies to the personal information we collect through the BDTS services (the “Service”). It does not apply to information collected by other apps, websites or services provided by Samsung or its affiliated entities.

BDTS is a Business Development Tracking System for Business Opportunity management. Its features include the management of campaigns, leads, account, contacts, opportunities, quotations, and activities.

To use BDTS, you must first have a Samsung Account. Our Privacy Policy at https://account.samsung.com/account/signUp.do (“Samsung Privacy Policy”) will apply to your use of your Samsung Account and BDTS. This Privacy Notice provides further information about how your personal data is used in connection with BDTS, and should be read in conjunction with the Samsung Privacy Policy.

In this Privacy Notice, we describe the types of information collected through BDTS, how we may use the information, how long we may keep the information, with whom we may share it and the choices available to you regarding our use of the information and exercising your rights. We also describe the measures we take to safeguard the information and tell you how to contact us about our privacy practices. Samsung is the data controller for the processing of personal data.

- Information We Obtain(top)

Through BDTS, we obtain information about you in various ways. The types of personal information we obtain include:

• Samsung Account Information. We collect information associated with your Samsung Account used to access BDTS, such as your name, email address and Samsung Account ID.

• BDTS Interactions. We collect information you exchange with BDTS through your interactions with the Services, including recordings of your voice commands (such as your questions, requests and instructions), your pictures, your touch interactions and other inputs, and the information you receive from the Services (such as responses, answers and content). If you submit information to BDTS that is sensitive in nature (i.e., health information), that will also be collected and processed for the purposes set out below. We will not actively collect such information without first obtaining your separate explicit consent, or as provided for by applicable law We also may obtain other information related to your use of BDTS, including the information (such as information related to the apps you use, the websites you visit and your contact lists, pictures, music, calendar entries, bookmarks, notes, alarm clock, and content and data from other Samsung and third-party apps, websites and services) we receive from Samsung and third-party apps and services that are accessed or used by BDTS to provide you with the Services (such as social media, email and instant messaging apps).

• Geolocation Data. With your permission, we may receive your device’s precise geolocation and other information related to your location through GPS, Bluetooth and WiFi signals, and other technologies for certain purposes, such as to provide you with the Services. Your device will provide you with a notification when the Services attempt to collect your precise geolocation. Please note that if you decline to allow BDTS to collect your precise geolocation, you may not be able to use all of the Services or their features.

• Device and App Information. We collect information through automated means about your BDTS-enabled devices, such as device models, OS versions, device configurations and settings, IP addresses, and device identifiers and other unique identifiers. In addition, we may obtain information about how, when and for how long you use your BDTS-enabled devices, including your usage of BDTS and Samsung and third-party apps and services on the devices (such as a listing of apps on your devices, music played on your devices, the websites you visit and the searches you make).

Samsung’s servers may receive information when you interact with BDTS, such as information about your use of BDTS, your interactions with BDTS, your geolocation and the devices you use to access BDTS.

- How We Use the Information We Obtain(top)

We use the information we obtain through the Services to:

• provide you with the Services, such as to respond to your requests, questions and instructions made through BDTS;

• identify and authenticate you so you may use certain Services;

• improve and customize your experience with the Services, such as delivering content and responses tailored to our users and the manner in which they interact with BDTS;

• with your separate consent, communicate with you about our products and services, and provide you with notifications, content, alerts, offers, promotions, marketing information, communications and advertisements;

• respond to your requests and inquiries;

• operate, evaluate and improve our business (including developing new products; enhancing and improving our products and the services; managing our communications; analyzing our products, customer base and the services; conducting market research; performing data analytics; and performing accounting, auditing and other internal functions);

• allow you to interact with and use certain third-party apps and services;

• protect against, identify and prevent fraud and other criminal activity, claims and other liabilities; and

• comply with and enforce applicable legal requirements, relevant industry standards and our policies, including this Privacy Notice, the Samsung Account Privacy Policy.

Through BDTS, we may collect personal information about your online activities on BDTS-enabled devices over time and across third-party apps, websites and other online services. We may use third-party analytics services on our Services. The providers that administer these analytics services help us analyze your use of the Services and improve our Services. The information we obtain may be disclosed to or collected directly by these providers and other relevant third parties who use the information, for example, to evaluate use of the Services, help provide the Services, and diagnose technical issues.

Samsung processes personal data for the purposes described above. Samsung’s legal basis to process personal data includes processing that is: necessary for the performance of the contract between you and Samsung (for example, to provide you with the Services and to identify and authenticate you so you may use certain Services); necessary to comply with legal requirements (for example, to comply with applicable accounting rules and to make mandatory disclosures to law enforcement); necessary for Samsung’s legitimate interests (for example, to manage our relationship with you and to improve the Services); and based on obtaining your separate consent (for example, to communicate with you about our products and services and provide you with marketing information), which may subsequently be withdrawn at any time by contacting us as specified in the How to Contact Us section of this Privacy Notice without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.

You are required, as a necessity to enter into a contract, to provide us with personal data for processing as described above. If you do not provide us with personal data, we will not be able to provide you all of the features available through BDTS.

- Information Sharing(top)

We do not disclose personal information about you through the Services, except as described in this Privacy Notice. Limited members of the BDTS service team in Samsung may access and other wise process personal data in connection with their job responsibilities or contractual obligations. We may share your personal information with our subsidiaries and affiliates and with service providers who perform services for us. We do not authorize our service providers to use or disclose the information except as necessary to perform services on our behalf or to comply with legal requirements.

Some of these personnel, affiliates and third party service providers are located outside of the EEA, including in countries that may not provide the same level of data protection as the home country of our customers, including, for example and without limitation to the Republic of Korea, the United States of America. Samsung takes appropriate steps to ensure that such recipients are bound to duties of confidentiality and Samsung implements measures such as standard data protection contractual clauses to ensure that any transferred personal data remains protected and secure. A copy of these clauses can be obtained by contacting us as specified in the How to Contact Us section of this Privacy Notice.

When you use BDTS to access or interact with third-party apps and services, we may send certain personal information to the providers of such third-party apps and services to provide you with the services you request. Examples of this information may include the voice commands you make to operate these apps and services, your geolocation and other location data, and other data that helps facilitate the services you request. These third parties also may collect certain personal information directly from your devices through BDTS. Samsung is not responsible for these third-party providers’ privacy or security practices. The privacy and security practices of the relevant providers, including details on the information they receive from us or collect about you, are subject to the privacy statements of these parties, which we strongly suggest you review.

Samsung, our subsidiaries and affiliates, and our third-party service providers also may disclose information about you (1) if we are required to do so by law or legal process (such as a court order or subpoena); (2) in response to requests by government agencies, such as law enforcement authorities; (3) to establish, exercise or defend our legal rights; (4) when we believe disclosure is necessary or appropriate to prevent physical or other harm or financial loss; (5) in connection with an investigation of suspected or actual illegal activity; (6) in the event we sell or transfer all or a portion of our business or assets (including in the event of a merger, acquisition, sale, transfer, reorganization, dissolution or liquidation); or (7) otherwise with your separate consent.

- Automated Decision Making(top)

We use automated decision-making technologies, including profiling, to support our data processing activities. Our automated decision-making capabilities include logic that predicts your preferences based on your usage of your Samsung device. By using this logic, it helps us to provide you with Services customized to your preferences. This means for our customers that they will be able to get the most of what BDTS has to offer.

We take appropriate steps to ensure that information about you based on the following logic:

1. at least the duration for which the information is used to provide you with the Service;

2. as required under law, a contract, or with regard to our statutory obligations; or

3. only for as long as is necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, is processed, or longer if required under any contract, by applicable law, or for statistical purposes, subject to appropriate safeguards.

We offer you certain choices in connection with the personal information we obtain about you. To update your preferences, limit the communications you receive from us, or submit a request, please contact us as specified in the How to Contact Us section of this Privacy Notice.

Please visit the BDTS settings on your device for choices that may be available to you in connection with your use of BDTS. BDTS offers choices related to sharing certain information with BDTS, receiving certain marketing information and communications about products, services and promotions from BDTS, and deleting your data collected and stored for the BDTS . Please note that if you decline to allow BDTS to collect or share certain information, you may not be able to use all of the features available through BDTS.

- Your Rights(top)

You have the right to request details about the information we collect about you and to request us to correct inaccuracies in that information, to object to or request the restriction of processing, to request access to, the erasure or portability of your information. Under the laws of some jurisdictions, we may decline to process requests that are unreasonably repetitive, require disproportionate technical effort, jeopardize the privacy of others, are extremely impractical, or for which access is not otherwise required by local law. If you request deletion of personal information, you acknowledge that you may not be able to access or use the Business Services and that residual personal information may continue to reside in Samsung’s records and archives for some time, in compliance with applicable law, but Samsung will not use that information for commercial purposes. You understand that, despite your request for deletion, Samsung reserves the right to keep your personal information, or a relevant part of it, in line with our data retention policy and applicable laws, if Samsung has suspended, limited, or terminated your access to the website for violating the Samsung Terms of Use, when necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Samsung, or any of our respective affiliates, business partners, employees or customers.

- How We Protect Personal Information(top)

We maintain appropriate administrative, technical and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information we obtain through the Services against accidental, unlawful or unauthorized destruction, interference, loss, alteration, access, disclosure or use. Samsung also maintains reasonable procedures to help ensure that such data is reliable for its intended use and is accurate, complete and current.

(Data Controller) (“Samsung”) knows how important privacy is to its customers and their employees and partners, and we strive to be clear about how we collect, use, disclose, transfer and store your information. This Privacy Policy provides an overview of our information practices with respect to personal information collected through BDTS (https://bdts.samsunghealthcare.com) services. with customers (the "BDTS Services”).

This Privacy Policy may be updated periodically to reflect changes in our personal information practices with respect to the BDTS Services or changes in the applicable law. We will indicate at the top of this Privacy Policy when it was most recently updated. If we update the Privacy Policy, we will let you know in advance about changes we consider to be material by placing a notice on the BDTS Services or by emailing you, where appropriate.

What information do we collect?

We will collect various types of personal information in connection with the BDTS Services.

• Information provided by you: We will collect personal information that you actively provide to us, such as your name, English name, address, e-mail address, phone number and contact details, job title, organization type and name, country, language, signup path, purchased product/application details, event participation logs, membership details, registration details, division code, corporation name, region, location, modality, signature image, and any communications you send or deliver to us;

• BDTS Interactions. We collect information you exchange with BDTS through your interactions with the Services or Website, and the information you receive from the Services or Website (such as responses, answers and content);

• If you submit information to BDTS that is sensitive in nature (i.e., health information), that will also be collected and processed for the purposes set out below. We will not actively collect such information without first obtaining your separate explicit consent, or as provided for by applicable law;

• We also may obtain other information related to your use of BDTS, including the information (such as information related to the websites you visit and other content and data from other Samsung websites and services) we receive from other Samsung companies and third-party services that are accessed or used by BDTS to provide you with the Services (such as social media, email and instant messaging apps).

How do we use your information?

We may use information we collect for the following purposes:

• to provide you with the Services or Websites, including to enable us to fulfill our obligations under any contract with you, such as to respond to your requests, questions and instructions made through BDTS;

• to respond to your questions or requests for information;

• to improve and customize your experience with the Services, such as delivering content and responses tailored to our users and the manner in which they interact with BDTS;

• with your separate consent, to communicate with you about our products and services, and provide you with notifications, content, alerts, offers, promotions, marketing information, communications and advertisements;

• with your separate consent, to provide membership services including but not limited to the sending of newsletters to registered members on a regular basis.

• to identify and authenticate you so you may use certain Services;

• for assessment and analysis of our market, customers, products, and services (including asking you for your opinions on our products and services, carrying out customer surveys; performing data analytics) to understand the way people use our Services or Website so that we can improve them and develop new products and services; and performing accounting, auditing and other internal functions;

• to allow you to interact with and use certain third-party apps and services;

• to protect against, identify and prevent fraud and other criminal activity, claims and other liabilities; and

• to comply with and enforce applicable legal requirements, relevant industry standards and our policies, including this Privacy Policy.

Samsung processes personal information for the purposes described above. Samsung’s legal basis to process personal information includes processing:
(i) So that we can keep our promises to you, such as providing you with the BDTS Services;
(ii) To promote our business interests (for example, to manage our relationship with you); and
(iii) To comply with the law and legal processes;

To whom do we disclose your information?

We will disclose your information internally within our business, but only to those who need it to further provide Services or to help with your requests

We will also disclose your information to the following entities, only to the extent that this will be necessary to provide the BDTS Services.

• Affiliates: Other Samsung Electronics Group companies which we control or own.

• Service Providers: Carefully selected companies that provide services for or on behalf of us. These providers are also committed to protecting your information.

• Other parties when required by law or as necessary to protect our business: For example, it may be necessary by law, legal process, or court order from governmental authorities to disclose your information. They may also seek your information from us for the purposes of law enforcement, national security, anti-terrorism, or other issues that are related to public security.

• Other parties in connection with corporate transactions: We may disclose your information to a third party as part of a merger or transfer, acquisition or sale, or in the event of a bankruptcy.

• Other parties with your consent or at your direction: In addition to the disclosures described in this Privacy Policy, we may share information about you with third parties when you separately consent to or request such sharing.

Submissions that you make to public areas of a website, mobile application, or other online service, such as comment boards may be viewable to other users of the BDTS Services. We do not control, and are not responsible for, how other users of the BDTS Services may use this information. For example, personal information that you submit in public areas could be collected and used by others to send you unsolicited messages or for other purposes.

How do we keep your information secure?

We take data protection seriously. We’ve put in place physical and technical safeguards to keep the information we collect secure. However, please note that although we take reasonable steps to protect your information, no website, Internet transmission, computer system, or wireless connection is completely secure.

Where do we send your data?

Your use or participation in the BDTS Services may involve transfer, storage and processing of your information outside of your country of residence, consistent with this policy. Such countries include, without limitation, [the Republic of Korea. Please note that the data protection and other laws of countries to which your information may be transferred might not be as comprehensive as those in your country. We will take appropriate measures, in compliance with applicable law, to ensure that your personal information remains protected. Such measures include the use of Standard Contractual Clauses to safeguard the transfer of data outside of the EEA. What are your rights?

• Your personal information belongs to you. You can ask us to provide details about what we’ve collected, and you can ask us to delete it or correct any inaccuracies. You can also ask us to restrict or limit processing, sharing, or transfer of your personal information, as well as to provide to you your personal information that we’ve collected so you can use it for your own purposes. However, requesting the deletion of your personal information may also result in a loss of access to the BDTS Services.

If you request deletion of personal information, you acknowledge that you may not be able to access or use the BDTS Services and that residual personal information may continue to reside in Samsung's records and archives for some time in compliance with applicable law, but Samsung will not use that information for commercial purposes. You understand that, despite your request for deletion, Samsung reserves the right to keep your personal information, or a relevant part of it, in line with our data retention policy and applicable laws, if Samsung has suspended, limited, or terminated your access to the website for violating the Samsung Terms of Use or any other applicable Samsung policy or applicable law, when necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Samsung, or any of our respective affiliates, business partners, employees or customers.

How long do we keep your information?

※ 삼성메디슨은 이용자의 사생활을 현저히 침해할 우려가 민감정보(사상•신념, 노동조합•정당의 가입•탈퇴, 정치적 견해, 건강, 성생활 등에 관한 정보 등)는 수집하지 않습니다.
2) 개인정보의 수집방법
- - 마이싱글 시스템으로부터 필수항목 정보를 받습니다.
- - BDTS 홈페이지 (본인 성명 → My Account )에 선택항목 정보를 본인이 직접 입력합니다.
- - 서비스 이용 기록은 생성정보 수집 툴을 통하여 수집합니다.
※ 삼성메디슨은 이용자께서 삼성메디슨의 개인정보 수집•이용 동의서 각각의 내용에 대해 "동의" 또는 "동의하지 않음"을 선택할 수 있는 절차를 마련하고 있습니다.

제3조 : 개인정보의 수집 및 이용목적

삼성메디슨은 만족스러운 서비스 제공을 위해 필요한 최소한의 범위 내에서 다음 각 항목과 같은 목적으로 개인정보를 수집하고 있습니다.

제5조 개인정보의 파기 절차 및 파기방법

삼성메디슨은 원칙적으로 개인정보 수집 및 이용목적이 달성된 후에는 해당 정보를 지체 없이 파기합니다. 파기절차 및 방법은 다음과 같습니다.
(1) 파기절차
- 이용자의 개인정보는 목적이 달성된 후 별도의 DB로 옮겨져(종이의 경우 별도의 서류함) 내부 방침 및 기타 관련 법령에 의한 정보보호 사유에 따라(보유 및 이용기간 참조) 일정 기간 저장된 후 파기됩니다. 별도 DB로 옮겨진 개인정보는 법률에 의한 경우가 아니고서는 보유되는 이외의 다른 목적으로 이용되지 않습니다.
(2) 파기방법
- 전자적 파일 형태로 저장된 개인정보는 기록을 재생할 수 없는 기술적 방법을 사용하여 삭제합니다.종이에 출력된 개인정보는 분쇄기로 분쇄하거나 소각을 통하여 파기합니다.

제6조 : 수집한 개인정보의 위탁

삼성메디슨은 서비스 이행을 위해 아래와 같이 개인정보 처리 업무를 외부 전문업체에 위탁하여 처리하고 있습니다. 개인정보 처리위탁은 개별 서비스 별로 그 이행을 위해 필요한 경우에 한해 각 위탁업체에 대해 이루어집니다.
개인정보의 처리를 위탁하는 경우에는 개인정보 보호의 안전을 기하기 위하여 개인정보보호 관련 지시엄수, 개인정보에 대한 비밀유지, 제3자 제공의 금지 및 사고시의 책임부담, 위탁기간, 처리 종료 후의 개인정보의 반환 또는 파기 등을 명확히 규정하고, 위탁업체가 개인정보를 안전하게 처리하도록 감독합니다.
업체, 위탁하는 업무의 내용이 변경될 경우, 웹사이트 공지사항(또는 서면•이메일•전화•SMS 등의 방법으로 개별공지)을 통하여 알려드리겠습니다.

제7조 : 제3자에게의 개인정보 제공

삼성메디슨은 이용자의 개인정보를 원칙적으로 외부에 제공하지 않습니다. 다만, 아래의 경우에는 예외로 합니다.
- 법령의 규정에 의거하거나, 수사 목적으로 법령에 정해진 절차와 방법에 따라 수사기관의 요구가 있는 경우
- 통계작성, 학술연구나 시장조사를 위해 특정 개인을 식별할 수 없는 형태로 가공하여 제공하는 경우
이상에 기재된 내용 외에 이용자의 개인정보를 제공하거나 공유하는 경우에는 이에 대한 별도 이용자 동의를 구하는 절차를 거쳐 제공합니다.

제8조 : 이용자 및 법정대리인의 권리•의무와 그 행사방법

1) 이용자 및 법정대리인은 언제든지 등록되어 있는 이용자 본인 혹은 당해 만 14세 미만자의 개인정보를 열람하거나 정정•삭제, 처리정지, 동의철회를 요청하실 수 있습니다. 개인정보 열람, 정정•삭제, 처리정지, 동의철회를 하고자 할 경우에는 대표전화(1588-3366) 또는 개인정보 관리책임자 및 담당자에게 서면, 전화 또는 이메일로 연락하시면 본인 확인 절차를 거쳐 지체 없이 조치하겠습니다.
2) 삼성메디슨은 다음에 해당하는 경우에는 개인정보의 전부 또는 일부에 대하여 열람/ 정정•삭제를 거절할 수 있습니다.
- - 법률에 따라 열람이 금지되거나 제한되는 경우
- - 다른 사람의 생명•신체를 해할 우려가 있거나 다른 사람의 재산과 그 밖의 이익을 부당하게 침해할 우려가 있는 경우
3) 이용자가 개인정보의 오류에 대한 정정을 요청하신 경우에는 정정을 완료하기 전까지 당해 개인정보를 이용 또는 제공하지 않습니다. 또한 잘못된 개인정보를 제3자에게 이미 제공한 경우에는 정정 처리결과를 제3자에게 지체 없이 통지하여 정정이 이루어지도록 조치하겠습니다.
4) 삼성메디슨은 이용자에 의해 삭제 요청된 개인정보는 삼성메디슨이 수집하는 개인정보의 보유 및 이용 기간 및 다른 법령에 명시된 바에 따라 처리하고 그 외의 용도로 열람 또는 이용할 수 없도록 처리하고 있습니다.
5) 이용자의 개인정보를 최신의 상태로 정확하게 입력하여 불의의 사고를 예방하여 주시기 바랍니다. 이용자가 입력한 부정확한 정보로 인하여 발생하는 사고의 책임은 이용자 자신에게 있으며 타인 정보의 도용 등 허위정보를 입력할 경우 회원자격이 상실될 수 있습니다.
6) 이용자는 개인정보를 보호받을 권리와 함께 스스로를 보호하고 타인의 정보를 침해하지 않을 의무도 가지고 있습니다. 이용자의 개인정보가 유출되지 않도록 조심하시고 게시물을 포함한 타인의 개인정보를 훼손하지 않도록 유의하여 주십시오. 만약 이 같은 책임을 다하지 못하고 타인의 개인정보 및 존엄성을 훼손할 시에는 관련법령에 의하여 처벌받을 수 있습니다.

제9조 개인정보 자동수집 장치의 설치, 운영 및 그 거부에 관한 사항

삼성메디슨은 이용자의 정보를 수시로 저장하고 찾아내는 ‘쿠키(cookie)’ 등을 운용합니다. 쿠키란 삼성메디슨의 웹사이트를 운영하는데 이용되는 서버가 이용자의 브라우저에 보내는 아주 작은 텍스트 파일로, 이용자의 컴퓨터 하드디스크에 저장됩니다.
(1) 쿠키 등 사용 목적
- 자동로그인 기능 구현, 회원과 비회원의 접속 빈도나 방문 시간 등을 분석, 이용자의 취향과 관심분야를 파악 및 자취 추적, 각종 이벤트 참여 정도 및 방문 회수 파악 등을 통한 타겟 마케팅 및 개인 맞춤 서비스 제공
(2) 쿠키 설정 거부 방법
- 이용자는 쿠키 설치에 대한 선택권을 가지고 있습니다. 따라서 웹브라우저에서 옵션을 설정함으로써 모든 쿠키를 허용하거나, 쿠키가 저장될 때마다 확인을 거치거나, 아니면 모든 쿠키의 저장을 거부할 수도 있습니다.
- 단, 이용자께서 쿠키 설치를 거부하였을 경우 서비스 제공에 어려움이 있을 수 있습니다.

제10조 : 기타 개인정보 처리에 관한 방침

삼성메디슨은 이용자의 개인정보를 처리함에 있어 개인정보가 분실, 도난, 누출, 변조 또는 훼손되지 않도록 안전성 확보를 위하여 다음과 같은 기술적, 관리적 조치를 강구하고 있습니다.
(1) 개인정보 보호를 위한 기술적, 관리적 조치
- - 내부관리계획의 수립 및 시행
- - ㆍ삼성메디슨은 개인정보의 안전한 처리를 위하여 내부관리계획을 수립하고 시행하고 있습니다.
  - ㆍ삼성메디슨은 사내 개인정보보호 전담기구 등을 통해 개인정보보호조치의 이행사항 및 담당자의 준수여부를 확인하여 문제 발견 시 즉시 시정 조치하도록 하고 있습니다.

- - ㆍ삼성메디슨은 침입차단시스템을 이용하여 외부로부터 무단 접근을 통제하고 있으며, 기타 시스템적으로 보안성을 확보하기 위하여 가능한 모든 기술적 장치를 갖추려 노력하고 있습니다.
- - 접속기록의 위조, 변조 방지를 위한 조치
- - ㆍ삼성메디슨은 개인정보처리시스템에 접속한 기록을 보관, 관리하고 있으며, 접속기록이 위조, 변조되지 않도록 보안기능을 사용하고 있습니다.
- - 개인정보의 암호화
- - ㆍ이용자의 개인정보는 비밀번호에 의해 보호되며, 파일 및 전송 데이터를 암호화하거나 파일 잠금기능(Lock)을 사용하여 저장,관리되며, 중요한 데이터는 별도의 보안기능을 통해 보호되고 있습니다.
- - 해킹 등에 대비한 대책
- - ㆍ삼성메디슨은 백신프로그램을 이용하여 컴퓨터바이러스에 의한 피해를 방지하기 위한 조치를 취하고 있습니다.
  - ㆍ백신프로그램은주기적으로 업데이트되며 갑작스런 바이러스가 출현할 경우 백신이 나오는 즉시 이를 제공함으로써 개인정보가 침해되는 것을 방지하고 있습니다.
  - ㆍ삼성메디슨은 암호알고리즘을 이용하여 네트워크 상의 개인정보를 안전하게 전송할 수 있는 보안장치(SSL)를 채택하고 있습니다.
  - ㆍ해킹 등 외부침입에 대비하여 각 서버마다 침입차단시스템 및 취약점 분석 시스템 등을 이용하여 보안에 만전을 기하고 있습니다.
  - ㆍ개인정보와 일반 데이터를 혼합하여 보관하지 않고 별도의 서버를 통해 분리하여 보관하고 있습니다.
- - 처리 직원의 최소화 및 교육
- - ㆍ삼성메디슨은 이용자의 개인정보에 대한 접근권한을 이용자를 직접 상대로 하여 업무를 수행하는 자, 개인정보관리책임자 및 담당자 등 개인정보관리업무를 수행하는 자, 기타 업무상 개인정보의 처리가 불가피한 자로 제한 하고 있습니다.
  - ㆍ개인정보를 처리하는 직원을 대상으로 새로운 보안 기술 습득 및 개인정보 보호 의무 등에 관해 정기적인 사내 교육 및 외부 위탁교육을 실시하고 있습니다.
  - ㆍ입사시 전 직원의 보안서약서를 통하여 사람에 의한 정보유출을 사전에 방지하고 개인정보보호정책에 대한 이행사항 및 직원의 준수여부를 감사하기 위한 내부절차를 마련하고 있습니다.
  - ㆍ개인정보 관련 처리자의 업무 인수인계는 보안이 유지된 상태에서 철저하게 이뤄지고 있으며 입사 및 퇴사후 개인정보 사고에 대한 책임을 명확화하고 있습니다.
  - ㆍ전산실 및 자료 보관실 등을 특별 보호구역으로 설정하여 출입을 통제하고 있습니다.
(2) 링크사이트 제공 방침
- - 삼성메디슨은 이용자에게 다른 회사의 웹사이트 또는 자료에 대한 링크를 제공할 수 있으며, 삼성서비스를 통해 제3자가 개발한 제품 및 서비스를 사용할 수 있습니다(예를 들어, 삼성앱스를 통해 제3자가 개발한 어플리케이션을 다운로드 받아 사용하는 경우 등).
- - 이 경우 삼성메디슨은 제3자의 사이트, 자료, 제품 및 서비스에 대한 아무런 통제권이 없으므로 그로부터 제공받는 제품 및 서비스나 자료의 유용성에 대해 책임질 수 없으며 보증할 수 없습니다. 삼성메디슨이 포함하고 있는 링크를 클릭(click) 하여 타 사이트(site)의 페이지로 옮겨갈 경우 해당 사이트의 개인정보보호정책은 삼성메디슨과 무관하므로 새로 방문한 사이트의 정책을 검토해 보시기 바랍니다.
(3) 게시물 운영 방침
- - 삼성메디슨은 이용자의 게시물을 소중하게 생각하며 변조, 훼손, 삭제되지 않도록 최선을 다하여 보호합니다. 그러나 다음의 경우는 그렇지 아니합니다.
- - 스팸(spam)성 게시물
- - ㆍ 타인을 비방할 목적으로 허위 사실을 유포하여 타인의 명예를 훼손하는 게시물
  - ㆍ 동의 없는 타인의 신상공개 게시물
  - ㆍ 회사 또는 제3자의 지적재산권 등 권리를 침해하는 내용의 게시물
  - ㆍ 기타 게시판 주제와 다른 내용의 게시물
- - 삼성메디슨은 바람직한 게시판 문화를 활성화하기 위하여 동의 없는 타인의 신상 공개 시 특정 부분을 삭제하거나 기호 등으로 수정하여 게시할 수 있으며, 다른 주제의 게시판으로 이동 가능한 내용일 경우 해당 게시물에 이동 경로를 밝혀 오해가 없도록 하고 있습니다.
- - 그 외의 경우 명시적 또는 개별적인 경고 후 삭제 조치할 수 있습니다.
- - 근본적으로 게시물에 관련된 제반 권리와 책임은 작성자 개인에게 있습니다. 또 게시물을 통해 자발적으로 공개된 정보는 보호받기 어려우므로 정보 공개 전에 심사 숙고하시기 바랍니다.
(4) 이메일 무단수집 거부 방침
- - 삼성메디슨은 게시된 이메일 주소가 전자우편 수집 프로그램이나 그 밖의 기술적 장치를 이용하여 무단 수집되는 것을 거부합니다. 이를 위반 시 「정보통신망 이용촉진 및 정보보호 등에 관한 법률」등에 의해 처벌 받을 수 있습니다.
(5) 광고성 정보의 전송
- - 삼성메디슨은 이용자의 명시적인 수신거부의사에 반하여 영리목적의 광고성 정보를 전송하지 않습니다.
- - 삼성메디슨은 이용자가 정보 안내, 뉴스레터 등 이메일 전송에 대한 동의를 한 경우, 이메일 제목란 및 본문란에 다음 사항과 같이 이용자가 쉽게 알아 볼 수 있도록 조치합니다.
- - ㆍ 이메일 제목란에는 광고라는 문구를 표시하지 않을 수 있으며 이메일 본문란의 주요 내용을 표시합니다.
  - ㆍ 이메일 본문란에는 이용자가 수신거부의 의사표시를 할 수 있는 전송자의 명칭, 이메일 주소 및 전화번호를 명시하고, 이용자가 수신 거부의 의사를 쉽게 표시할 수 있는 방법을 명시합니다.
- - 팩스•휴대폰 문자전송 등 이메일 이외의 매체를 통해 영리목적의 광고성 정보를 전송하는 경우 관련 법령에 따라 전송내용 처음에 “광고” 문구를 표기하는 등 필요한 조치를 행합니다.

2. I dati personali oggetto di trattamento

Ti informiamo che Samsung tratterà informazioni a te relative, come il nome, cognome, il tuo ruolo lavorativo, indirizzo email, il tuo eventuale datore di lavoro, il tuo numero telefonico laddove fornito (di seguito solo “Dati Personali”).
I tuoi Dati Personali potranno essere raccolti perché da te volontariamente forniti.

3. Finalità del trattamento

Samsung utilizzerà i tuoi Dati Personali,per le seguenti finalità:

l’iscrizione al Sito che tiene traccia dell’opportunita` commerciale che coinvolge Te e Samsung ("Fornitura del Servizio");
Assolvere ad obblighi di legge che impongono a Samsung la raccolta e/o l'ulteriore elaborazione di determinati tipi di Dati personali (“Compliance”);
proteggere i diritti, le proprietà o la sicurezza di Samsung, delle nostre affiliate, dei nostri partner commerciali, dipendenti o clienti, ad esempio, nell’ambito di procedimenti giudiziari, indagini interne e indagini delle autorità competenti, nonché prevenire o individuare qualsiasi abuso nell’utilizzo del Sito nella partecipazione all’Iniziativa o qualsiasi attività fraudolenta (“Abusi/Frodi”).

4. Base legale e natura obbligatoria o facoltativa del trattamento

Le basi legali utilizzate da Samsung per trattare i tuoi Dati Personali, secondo le finalità indicate nel precedente Paragrafo 3, sono le seguenti:

Fornitura del Servizio: il trattamento per questa finalità è necessario per iscrivere al Sito e tenere traccia dell’opportunita` commerciale che potrebbe riguardare Te e Samsung . Il conferimento dei tuoi Dati Personali a Samsung per questa finalità non è obbligatorio, ma in caso contrario non sarà possibile fornirti alcun Servizio.
Compliance: il trattamento per questa finalità è necessario perché Samsung possa assolvere eventuali obblighi di legge. Quando fornisci dei Dati Personali a Samsung, essi saranno trattati secondo la normativa applicabile, il che potrebbe comportare la loro conservazione e comunicazione alle Autorità per obblighi contabili, fiscali o di altra natura.
Abusi/Frodi: le informazioni raccolte per questa finalità saranno usate esclusivamente per prevenire e/o individuare eventuali attività fraudolente o abusi nell’utilizzo del Sito o nella partecipazione all’Iniziativa (aventi rilevanza penale).

5. Destinatari dei dati personali

I tuoi Dati Personali potranno essere condivisi con i soggetti presenti indicati di seguito (i “Destinatari”):

Soggetti che agiscono tipicamente in qualità di responsabili del trattamento quali ad esempio persone, società o studi professionali che prestano attività di assistenza e consulenza a Samsung in materia contabile, amministrativa, legale, tributaria, finanziaria e di recupero crediti relativamente alla erogazione dei Servizi, nonché i soggetti delegati per lo svolgimento di alcune attività relative all’Iniziativa;
Soggetti con i quali sia necessario interagire per l'erogazione dei Servizi (ad esempio gli hosting provider o i fornitori di piattaforme per l’invio di mail);
Soggetti delegati a svolgere attività di manutenzione tecnica (inclusa la manutenzione degli apparati di rete e delle reti di comunicazione elettronica);
Persone autorizzate da Samsung al trattamento di Dati Personali necessario a svolgere attività strettamente correlate all'erogazione dei Servizi anche in relazione all’Iniziativa, che si siano impegnate alla riservatezza o abbiano un adeguato obbligo legale di riservatezza (es. dipendenti di Samsung);
Società del Gruppo Samsung per finalità amministrative interne;
Soggetti, enti od autorità a cui sia obbligatorio comunicare i tuoi Dati Personali per finalità di Compliance, Abusi o Frodi, o per ordini delle autorità;

6. Trasferimenti dei dati personali

Considerata la presenza internazionale di Samsung, alcuni dei tuoi Dati Personali sono condivisi con Destinatari che si potrebbero trovare al di fuori dello Spazio Economico Europeo. Samsung assicura che il trattamento dei tuoi Dati Personali da parte di questi Destinatari avviene nel rispetto della normativa applicabile. Invero, i trasferimenti vengono effettuati tramite adeguate garanzie, quali decisioni di adeguatezza, Standard Contractual Clauses approvate dalla Commissione Europea o altre garanzie considerate adeguate. 7. Conservazione dei Dati Personali

I Dati Personali trattati per la finalità di Fornitura dei Servizi saranno conservati da Samsung per il tempo strettamente necessario al perseguimento della suddetta finalità. In ogni caso, poiché tali Dati Personali sono trattati per fornirti i Servizi, Samsung potrà conservarli per un periodo maggiore, in particolare per quanto possa essere necessario al fine di proteggere gli interessi di Samsung da possibili responsabilità relative ai Servizi.

I Dati Personali trattati per la finalità di Compliance saranno conservati da Samsung per il periodo previsto da specifici obblighi legali o dalla normativa applicabile.

I Dati Personali trattati al fine di prevenire Abusi/Frodi saranno conservati da Samsung per il tempo strettamente necessario alla suddetta finalità e dunque fino al momento in cui Samsung sarà tenuta a conservarli per tutelarsi in giudizio a comunicare detti dati alle Autorità competenti.

Al termine del periodo di conservazione, eliminiamo i Dati Personali in modo da garantire che non possano essere ricostruiti o letti.

8. Diritti dell’interessato

Hai il diritto di chiedere a Samsung, in qualunque momento:

L'accesso ai tuoi Dati Personali, (e/o una copia di tali Dati Personali), nonché ulteriori informazioni sui trattamenti in corso su di essi;
La rettifica o l’aggiornamento dei tuoi Dati Personali trattati da Samsung, laddove fossero incompleti o non aggiornati;
La cancellazione dei tuoi Dati Personali dai database di Samsung, laddove ritenessi il trattamento non necessario o illegittimo;

9. Modifiche
